PLATFORM

SAFE STREETS, CLEAN WATER, AND AN ADMINISTRATION YOU CAN TRUST.

Sophia Saenz plans to address the issues of safe streets by investing in pothole repairs, sidewalk installations, proper lighting, and strict animal control.

To address the water issues, Saenz will oversee the repairs and management of the water plant and decrease the cost of water for South Houstonians. Residents should not pay more for water than all of our neighboring cities.

Transparency is the key to anti-corruption. Saenz will tackle the budget deficit and provide residents with monthly updates via newsletter about city spending. Taxes have continued to rise and residents deserve to know how their money is being spent.

BLOCK WALK TEAMS

The best way to get out the vote is block walking. Block walking is a volunteer effort to knock on doors of registered voters and discuss the upcoming election and leave literature. This gives the community a chance to meet the candidates of South Houston First and express their city concerns. To join an upcoming block walk, meet at SH1 Headquarters or text
